Jenner-Koivu-Foligno might be the best 3rd line in the NHL 👍 |

My understanding was that Dubinsky definitely cannot play again |

Goaltending is their biggest need imo. I like the moves they made so far this off-season. One more nice trade could put them over the hump. |

Coaches of Tortorella's ilk usually have difficulty managing players after a few seasons. Considering this is his sixth season, I would not be surprised to see him "lose the room" if things start poorly. As such, I will speculate a new coach may be the thing that will be needed. |

Thomas Townsend: What do the Jackets need? - Thomas Townsend
Reclamation project is the way to go , clearly Hoffman wants nothing to do with the cbj. I see a fit with Athanasiou playing on LW .
As for your assessment of the back end , Nuutivaara was a healthy scratch on some nights and Murray probably go injured while finding out he got traded to NJ . I would say pretty much the same except Peeke might have some upside. |

Unfortunately what the Jackets need are playing in the KHL for the next 2 seasons. The skill level of Chinakhov and Marchenko is above most of the players on the Jackets now. Even though there'd be a learning curve with them over here, I'd throw them in pretty quick. They're holding their own against older players - so it'd be a short jump to the NHL.
Also - you're way off about Dubi. He ain't comin' back as a player. His career is over - and JK has been trying to find a team that needs a big LTIR player.
I keep waiting/hoping for the big trade outta Jarmo bringing in the move-the-needle forward. |

Me on draft day : What the hell is a Chynakhov
Me after looking at his stats in Khl and Kajala cup: once again Jarmo knows how to shut me up. He has me intrigued, he's 19 playing in the KHL , I can't wait for the WJC to start , I think we will be earing a lot of him. |

1. Don't put that evil on us
2. They were also playing a primarily defensive structure designed to insulate our goalies, so while I'll admit they're not the best on offense, part of that is from design.
3. Repositioning Boone Jenner is gonna be a massive improvement for us |

We already have one of those this year (two if you count Koivu) |

If he was earning league minimum then yes, but Koivu was brought in to win faceoffs, and serve a specific role , as mentioned , he will allow Jenner to play on wing again. |
